We began our search for a second home in Florida approximately two years ago. Dan never pushed us nor did he ever give up. Residing 1300 miles away we needed to work with a trustworthy professional. Dan consistently proved we had made the right choice in our realtor selection. Extremely knowledgeable, helpful and a sincerely caring individual. We always knew that Dan was working for us and our needs.
Our search for Florida property began in the boom real estate era making it difficult for us to get the most for our money. Dan spent hours and days with us showing us properties within our price range. Believe me, during this time that was a difficult task to accomplish! In addition, our time was limited in Florida and Dan knew that it was very possible that he would be doing all this work to no avail. Dan never pushed us. He always went the extra mile to guide us to get the most for our investment. Although, even after all Dan's hard work and time, we did not purchase at this time. We left Florida knowing that Dan knew what we were looking for and our needs as well as we did.
Eventually we found the ideal property. Dan did all the footwork, information collecting and property touring for us. He continually kept us informed of his findings. He even made a special trip to Bradenton to take pictures of the property for us. We trust Dan's realtor skills and opinion so highly that we purchased the condo sight unseen (other than pictures). We made one of the best decisions of our life. Dan was always straight forth with us and we sincerely appreciated his honesty. He thoroughly explained every detail, walked us through each and every step and immediately responded to any questions or concerns. Dan made us feel important and never once took advantage of our lack of knowledge in Florida real estate. Completing the contract and closing was, therefore, a breeze. We never had to leave Rochester, New York because Dan did it all!!

THIS WAS THE EASIEST PURCHASE WE HAVE EVER MADE!
I'm so glad we have a chance to tell others of our terrific experience with buying a second home in St. Petersburg. Due to the help we received from Dan and Pat Finn of Future Home Realty, the task was a pleasure.
We've always wanted a second home in Florida and decided to look in the St. Petersburg area after visiting any locations. We looked on the internet one Sunday morning and found an advertisement from Future Home Realty regarding a property that looked interesting. We called Dan and got an immediate response. We made a date to go down and look. Dan and Pat created a list of properties in which they thought we might be interested. We took the trip to St. Petersburg from New Jersey and spent the better parts of two days looking at properties. Exactly the type of home we wanted soon became clear to Dan, so he narrowed the search list for my second trip down. This trip was a business trip, so Dan made the time I had to spend on home hunting very efficient. In all, we made about three trips down to examine homes. While we were in New Jersey though, Dan continued to send us listings of those properties that he thought we would like. We changed our minds a few times in the process and even delayed our decision once, but Dan and Pat continued to help until we decided on one. They never lost patience with us.
They we really got to appreciate Dan and Pat's help right up to and after closing. I already had a financing commitment from a New Jersey bank but Dan thought he might be able to refer me to a local mortgage agent who could get us a better rate. He did and we did. He obtained any necessary information that we needed regarding the property or local laws, rules, etc. Thhen he arranged for all inspections, repairs and cleaning of the property. He did a personal inspection before we closed, just to make sure that everything was done right. He even refeived boxes of home goods that we sent from New Jersey and delivered them to our new home. If that ain't service, I don't know what is!!
Our experience was fantastic. Living in New Jersey and buying a house 1,000 miles away can be very stressful. Moving into it, even more so. Dan and Pat made our purchase a lot easier and more joyful. It was a real pleasure. We not only found our new home in a far away place but we found new friends as well.

We cannot say enough good things about Dan and Pat Finn and their efforts to find us a home. We had some basic requirements in what we thought we wanted in a house as we began our search. They gave us a great number of listings for homes which met our wants and needs. Dan was always eager to show us as many of those homes as we wished. As he learned our tastes in home features, he searched for other homes in which we might be interested. He was a realtor, counselor and FRIEND! It was not unusual for Dan to meet with us two or three times in a day and take numerous phone calls from us at all hours of the day and night. If Dan was unavailable, Pat was there to help us. We would remark to each other at the patience they must have. They worked around our schedules at every step of the process. We could see their geniune desire to find the right house for us.
As patient as Dan was, he could be just as tenacious in working for us. As we looked seriously at a couple of homes, Dan had to deal with the sellers' realtors that obviously weren't as committed to selling a home as he was to helping us buy one. When we found the right house and were in contract, Dan came through again. As the closing neared, Dan learned of problems on the seller's end which would potentially delay the sale or worse. He worked with the seller's agent, the title company and the mortgage broker to ensure that everything was settled to our satisfaction. We cannot imagine that anyone could have done a more fantastic job for us. Thank you so much Dan and Pat !!!

DAN AND PAT WERE TOTALLY COMMITTED TO US! WE VALUED THEIR PROFESSIONALISM MOST OF ALL! 
Where do we begin in this crazy tale? Jeff and I decided we wanted the "retirement life" a little earlier than the actual retirement. This would involve a boat and a home on the water. It was all just an idea until we found Dan and Pat.
They quickly noted our wants versus our needs. They were ever mindful of our budget. They meticulously remembered our requirements finding us multiple listings within those requirements. They even found us an outstanding mortgage broker who could creatively work with us and our unique situation.
Dan and Pat have many fine qualities. There is no one more prompt than Dan and Pat. They continually amazed me with their efficent time management. We felt as if we were their only customers knowing full well we weren't.
Another quality not to be downplayed was their total commitment to following through with whatever it was we asked for. We would ask for dimensions, boat lift capacity, seawall requirements and literally endless questions about each property they patiently showed. We would have our answers within hours and often within minutes of asking. Let's not forget their patience. I think we saw one particular property four different times. We were never hurried or made to feel we were being too critical.
I think we valued their professionalism most of all. They are honest, respectful and full of integrity. They know their business pure and simple. They exemplify the "Golden Rule" treating others as they would want treated.
We were blessed to have found Dan and Pat. Not only did they become an integral part of our serach for "the dream home", but became people we are pleased to call our friends.

We are from the U.K.and were looking for a holiday/retirement home in Florida. The process of buying a property in USA is very different to buying a property in the U.K. We had heard and read of many tales of woe and were quite rightly worried about our adventure into the unknown. Having purchased and sold 7 houses previously throughout my lifetime, I can attest to the fact that all realtors are far from the same! Megan and I started looking for our dream home 7 months ago; we went through 4 different realtors before luckily finding Dan and Pat Finn. I never thought I'd write a testimonial for individuals that my wife and I only began to correspond with long distance a few months ago and didn't even meet in person until two months ago. But here it is: Dan and Pat Finn are two people who honestly do go the extra mile for their clients!
We began our search for a condo in Florida in June 2005. Dan and Pat Finn were the only Realtors who took our questions and search over the Internet seriously and began to e-mail us. BEST DECISION WE HAVE MADE SINCE MOVING TO FLORIDA
My wife and I moved to Florida in June of this year. We decided to move into an apartment to simplify our lives a little. After only 3 months in an apartment we decided we had enough and had to have our own home again. We did the normal thing of on-line research and a realtor gave me a call. My wife and I followed him to 3 houses and realized that realtors are not all the same.
When we bought and sold our previous home we used Realty Executives.
